Carolyn Ruth Withers

Carolyn Ruth (Bailey) Withers, 60, of Minden, LA passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family, Carolyn was born October 29, 1960 in El Dorado, AR. She was a member of the Four Winds Church in Conway, AR where she started a volunteer children’s theater ministry and she carried this ministry to Living Word Worship Center in Minden, LA. She enjoyed card making and coloring. For the past three years she was consistently being admitted to hospitals and rehabilitation centers, while she was a patient, she saw the need to be a companion for other patients, this was her calling to visit and bring comfort to others. She was preceded in death by her parents Sim Jackson Bailey, Sr., and Ruth Elizabeth (West) Bailey and sister in law Tracye Bailey. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 22 years Chris Withers of Minden, LA, son David (Kim) Bailey of Frisco, TX, grandchildren Boston Bailey, Adelaide Bailey, and Quest Bailey of Frisco, TX, brother Sim (Darla) Bailey, Jr. of Magnolia, sister Christy (Greg) Jackson of Hope, AR, brother Doug (Kimberly) Bailey of Stephens, brother in law David Owen (Delores) Withers of Yukon, OK, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Gray officiating with a graveside service to follow at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR.
