Neta Parks Souter, 81 of Taylor, Arkansas passed away at her home in Taylor on December 22, 2019. She was born on April 19, 1938 in Taylor, Arkansas to the late Lance Vernon Parks and Thelma (Moore) Parks. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Taylor and received her Master’s in Education from Auburn University. She taught at Taylor High School for 28 years where she was a business teacher and yearbook sponsor, Neta is survived by her two sons, Harroll Jonathan Souter and wife Rhonda of Taylor, Jeremy Souter of Hot Springs; a grandson Jacob Souter of Hot Springs; and granddaughter, Chasiti Souter of Bossier City, Louisiana. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Taylor, Arkansas. Cremation services provided by Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.
